Storytelling Alberta– Storytelling Alberta (formerly known as TALES) has operated since 1982 as a non-profit organization promoting the tradition of oral storytelling.
Storytellers of Canada– Storytellers of Canada – Conteurs du Canada (SC-CC) supports the art of oral storytelling through its storytellers and its story listeners.
Natureground – A project at Dr. E. W. Coffin Elementary School in Calgary where natural areas have been adopted and reclaimed by students and community members. Stories in paintings, poetry, and on signs
Y.A.B.S– For over 25 years, YABS has been an advocate for children’s literacy in Alberta. Its mission is “to foster literacy and a love of reading among young people in Alberta by providing access to the province’s literary artists and their work.”
Water Valley Celtic Festival– The Water Valley Traditional Celtic Folk Festival is a one day event that features talent of all levels involving music, dance and stories performed by individuals and groups covering the range from amateur to professional level.
